Faux Fur Beanbag Collection in Yeti Faux Fur

Every faux fur beanbag in this category is covered in Yeti Faux Fur, a fluffy fur-effect fabric available in two shades: Yeti Grey and Yeti Pink. There are 13 models, from children's chairs and footstools to an XXL lounge chair and a giant floor cushion, all designed for indoor use. We design them ourselves in the Italian style and have been making bean bags in Europe since 2010.

Floor cushions, poufs and pieces for children

• Large Floor Cushion XL for Kids – approx. 98 × 138 × 25 cm, about 200 l; big enough for a child to lie on with a book.
• Giant Floor Cushion XXL – approx. 135 × 175 cm, about 390–400 l.
• Round Cylinder Pouffe – Ø 55 × 40 cm, and Square Cube Ottoman – approx. 45 × 45 × 45 cm; both work as a footrest or an extra seat.

Where a faux fur bean bag fits

Faux fur adds a soft, cosy texture to a living room, a bedroom, a reading corner or a child's room. The two shades are easy to combine: Yeti Grey works as a neutral next to most sofas and rugs, while Yeti Pink gives a girl's or teenager's room a gentle accent. Pair a bean bag with the Cube or Cylinder pouffe in the same fur for a matching set.

How to choose the size

Choose the size by height rather than body weight. The Kids L is designed for children of roughly 3 to 5–6 years; older children are more comfortable on the XL, and teenagers and adults on the XL or XXL. As an example, someone 180 cm tall sits comfortably on both the XL and the XXL, and more comfortably on the XXL. If you want support for your back, look at the Distinto XXL or the Bali, which both have a backrest; to stretch out, the Giant Floor Cushion XXL gives you the largest surface. The EPS filling moulds to your body, so people of every build can sit comfortably. For the same reason our bean bags are used in schools, psychologists' practices and antenatal classes, and a large bean bag or floor cushion can make sitting more comfortable during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.

Filling and covers

All bean bags, cushions and poufs in this collection are filled with EPS polystyrene beads – virgin material, odourless and hygiene-certified. Over time the beads settle; you can top them up with our EPS refill, sold in 50, 100, 200 and 400 l bags. Most models have a removable cover, and many also have an inner bag, so the beads stay inside while the outer cover is in the wash. The Round Cylinder Pouffe, the Square Cube Ottoman and the Round Footstool Pouffe Teddy Kids do not have a removable cover. Covers are finished with reinforced seams, and the zip is sewn in so that it stays out of sight.

Caring for faux fur

Shake the bean bag from time to time to spread the filling evenly. Brush the fur gently with a soft brush to remove dust. Wash a removable cover according to the care label on the cover. Models without a removable cover are cleaned in place with a slightly damp cloth. For fresh spots, our accessories include Dr. Beckmann stain removers, tested on our fabrics.

Faux fur in a child's room

For a child's room, choose the Kids L, the Large Floor Cushion XL or the Teddy Kids chair and footstool, which are sized for children. Children's models close with a double zip, which makes the filling harder to get at while still letting you top it up. Our fabrics are OEKO-TEX certified and hypoallergenic. A floor cushion or bean bag is a good place for a child's nap, but not for a baby: infants should always sleep on a firm, flat mattress.

Delivery and packaging

Each model is shipped in a carton without printing or ink, which is easy to recycle. Carton sizes help you check doorways and stairs before delivery: about 70 × 60 × 50 cm for the Kids L and the Large Floor Cushion XL, 80 × 60 × 60 cm for the XL bean bag, 120 × 60 × 60 cm for the XXL bean bag and the Giant Floor Cushion XXL, and 60 × 50 × 50 cm for the Cylinder and Cube. These are the dimensions of the box, not of the product.

Warranty, delivery and more collections

Covers carry a 24-month warranty and the filling 6 months. Delivery is free on orders from €85 to 23 EU countries, and consumers have 14 days to return an order.
