Certified materials. Italpouf to create its products uses only safe materials from reliable suppliers. Materials have European and global certificates i.a. Oeko TEX and product cards, which define the exact parameters of fabrics such as the composition of the raw materials or abrasion resistance. From the very beginning Italpouf attaches great importance to the quality of the fabrics. Some fabrics use Cleanaboo or Easy Clean technology to make cleaning as easy as possible. Child-friendly product. Most of our products are addressed to children and youth and that is why the safety of the beanbags is so important for us. The materials are safe and non-allergenic. The filling of the products is certified – in the majority of products we use dual zippers and hook-and-loop fasteners to prevent the accidental spillage of Styrofoam beads. Detailed information can be found on the product card.
Hand made. Our products are handmade, from the stage of design, through cutting out the pattern, to sewing and putting the finishing touch on our beanbags. The only machines which we use are the sewing machines, which, however, are used by experienced staff. Each product is individually marked and signed by the person who made it for you.
Indoor/Outdoor. Products marked with this symbol can be used both at home and outside. It means that the fabric which has been used in this product is waterproof, so you can use it in the garden, on the balcony, terrace or on the beach. Fabric with an increased tolerance to weather conditions. Note: water-resistant has a different meaning from water-proof, so you must not swim on our beanbags! Easy cleaning. We are aware that our products are intensively used in various conditions, which is why all of our fabrics are relatively easy to clean. To clean Ecoleather and nylon you need just soapy water (to remove most types of soiling) – in the case of fabrics (e.g.. alcantara, plush or microfiber) you can wash an external cover in washing machine at 30° C. Some of the fabrics use Cleanaboo or Easy Clean technology , so they don't absorb colouring liquids like coffee, wine, or tea.
Weather-resistant. The symbols apply to products made from fabrics with high resistance to weather conditions. Polyester has UV protection, thanks to that it does not strongly heat. Hydrophobic properties of plush or alcantara protect the fabric from the rain. Note - It does not mean that bean bags are full-year products - we do not recommend them as a permanent equipment of your garden or terrace.
Gift wrapping. While placing an order, when the product is already in the shopping cart you can additionally order a decorative package – then we will pack the product in a black, elegant cover with elastic, which not only presents nicely, but also protects the product.
Reinforced seams - in the products we use most often double seams made of reinforced nylon thread. This ensures high quality of the product and safety in everyday use.
Knitted product - Product marked with this symbol is a handmade knitted product. The whole product is hand-made, with traditional method. This ensures its uniqueness and unusualness. Traditional style with a modern twist!
